The Hegel RC8 is made out of solid anodized aluminum and can control all Hegel products. It also has computer controls that let you skip and play/pause on the computer connected to your Hegel DAC via USB or network. RC8 comes as standard on H120, H190, H390, H590, HD30, P20, and P30. Programming the RC8
The RC8 remote can be used with both Hegel DAC’s and Amps. The functions Vol+ Vol- IN+ IN- are customized for each category. You can switch between the two modes by pressing and holding “DAC+ and “DISP” buttons for 15sec.
Changing Battery
The remote control uses two standard 1.5-volt LR03 / AAA batteries. To insert the batteries please use a normal type cross head screwdriver to gently remove the four screws in the bottom of the remote control. Be sure to insert the batteries with the correct polarity with + sign and – sign as shown inside the battery holder
