When I'm watching a movie, I want to hear the dialogue clearly, and the TV speakers just don't cut it in that regard. The JBL Studio 665C center channel will do justice to every word an actor utters. Four 5-1/4" PolyPlas® cone woofers in a ported box help add impact to sound effects and music, too. And it's voice-matched to sound spectacular with other speakers in the Studio 600 series.

More about the tweeter technology

JBL uses horn-loaded compression drivers in speaker arrays for large concert venues — they fill space with clear sound in a way a standard dome tweeter can't. This same technology is used in the Studio 665C center channel. The driver is recessed in a waveguide, which ensures that detailed high frequencies are dispersed across a wide listening area.
